I finished up the Ty Dy ZigZag scarf today. It was a fast & rather fun little knit. I am tired of scarves but I do love how this yarn & pattern matched up!

That’s washed & now laid out to dry on the back of the couch. It measures 5″ wide by about 58″ long using only 1 ball of the K1C2 Ty-Dy yarn. Fantastic!

  2. So nice! I’m with you about being tired of scarves, and how many do we need here in S.B. anyway? If I make it, it will be donated to Red Scarf Project. There, (justifyingly so) now I can make one, huh?

  4. Well, I love scarves, and this one is really great. I love how the pattern came out of the yarn. It looks imminently touchable and soft. And the colors are yummy too!

We don’t need any scarves here in SB but I just cast on for another brioche scarf in Cotton Fleece to show that it doesn’t have to be 2″ thick in wool & mohair!

It’s cute & I like it, it’ll be in the shop next week sometime.

  7. It is a wonderful yarn. It’s soft, very soft for a 24ply cotton. The colors moved into eachother fantastically and it was so fun to watch knit up.

The pattern is an Artyarns pattern, I am not sure I mentioned that. It’s a great, simple pattern to follow.
