Temperature projects, usually blankets, have been hit & miss in their popularity, but they have made a huge comeback!
This Make-along (MAL) will help you plan, start, keep track, and finish a temperature project of your choice:
- knit, crochet, spin, cross-stitch, or weave
- granny squares, mitered squares, entrelac, stripes, corner to corner, center out, lace, Tunisian crochet, there are so many options
- spin a color a day and chain-ply
- whatever item you think will work with 365 days of temperatures
- work using the high or low temperature of the day
- choose any year from any city using Weather Underground (search for the location, then click on the history tab to choose the timeframe)
- choose how many colors/temp range you want
- choose any yarn; weight and colors you desire
This is a completely customizable project!
Make gifts for family members commemorating a special year; great for birth years, anniversaries, etc.
