I am a nerd & didn’t get any pictures of the box I sent to my Caffeine Addicts group swap partner. But…I got my package today and have plenty of pictures!! Here goes…

The coffee is super yummy! I immediately brewed a pot.
The scarf is so fun! It will be absolutely perfect with my cream pea coat!
The yarn is Miss Babs “Yummy” Hand-Painted Sock and Baby Yarn, colorway Mums. I do believe it will be balled up tonight just because I love the colors and want it ready to knit at a moments notice.
Very fun swap! I hope Tinkerpro likes her box o’ goodies!!

 

And another box from Cori! Lord help me there’s a lot to list from this one, too much so a picture and summary are good; (hey! I literally just found a container of stitch markers in between yarns in the box from Maura! Surprises never end. Back to cori’s box.) There are Younger Yarn sock yarns, Alina Shea yarns, more cottons of all kinds, 10 balls of Roma Jaeger, noro Sekku and Silk Garden, a couple other balls/hanks of socks yarn, umm… and a scale! Mine is broken but here so a replacement is much appreciated.
I won’t be able to knit/crochet all this yarn!
I do plan to use most of it to make gifts for others, that’s how I roll.
In the box was another gift; a stone, a soapstone like a worry stone but I am calling this a strength stone. On one side it says “I am a woman”, the other side says “Healing Myself”. Along with it was a card with a great strength sentiment. I would share but I want to keep it for my own 🙂
Thank you my sweet Sister. I love you so much and take strength from knowing you’ve got my back.

I am very tempted to go all out and spill my guts here. Possibly another place to be held accountable. Then I remember the poor knitters that come here for free patterns and not the shit in my personal life lol
Really, how much would it suck to click a link to a free hat pattern and land smack in the middle of a divorce, anorexia, lovesick, heart broken, crazy 35 year old going off about how much life blows?
LOL Put that way it’s kinda comical in my dark little world.
Anyway, I will hold off on the full monty, or possibly give it it’s own page.

Today is a day that I just want to go off. Unload, explode, stand in the corner and scream, curled up in a ball and disappear.
And then tomorrow will come and I will be strong and alone again. I want my thick armor back up that I carried so proudly for so many years.

A hat for a friend that is helping me through a difficult time 😉

Our most wonderful Spencer painted us a sign for our Knit in Public day next Saturday, June 13 at East Beach, straight out from the grill & marked by our lovely sign, from 10:30 am- whenever we go home.
