450 yards worsted (ish) weight Maple Sugar yarn for Tracy

This is just about 1/3 of the roving. If that. We should get a good, good amount of yarn from the 20 ounces of roving.

This is 2lbs of carded merino sliver, fine browns

I am really hoping to be able to end up with a 2 ply worsted weight that I can use to make the perfect mens sweater. This is so soft it is fantastic to spin. I love it! Even if it does have a bit of matter in it still that needs to be picked out during pre-drafting.

handpaintedyarn merino roving in pagoda

I am trying to go as thin as possible to ply it into a laceweight yarn. I would say this is cobweb weight right now. So thin that I am sure it’s going to break every time I draft. But I do beleive I have the hang of the thin stuff. I have no clue how much yardage I can get out of 4 oz of merino in a laceweight but I am excited to see the end result.
