Sleepy Time

A while back Trevor requested a sleeping hat. I am still not sure where the idea came from but he feels he needs one to keep him warm at night. Being a super-mom, I obliged.

We had ourselves a fake sleeping session this afternoon to test it out.

He loves it & I just hope it keeps him warm enough to keep him out of my bed!
It’s too bad that the lighting wasn’t darker and my camera is still not repaired to let me change anything other than the focus. Ah well, he’s cute even if he is a little fuzzy!

  1. Okay, I love the fake sleeping! And the hat turned out supergreat! I had it in my head it would be red and white after the cat in the hat but I love the blue. What yarn did you use?

  3. Very cute!!!
Bloglines doesn’t seem to like your blog these days. They say you don’t have any new posts and aren’t linking to your blog at all it seems.
    What’s up with that?
Am I the only one having this problem?

  4. Oh no, you are not the only one! My blog host has been fighting with bloglines since July to get my rss feed linked with them again. Bloglines says my firewalls are too good. I didn’t know in this day & age that you could have too much protection on the internet. I guess you can! My host isn’t backing down trying to get bloglines to re-assess their side of things.

We’ll see what happens! It’s been very frustrating but the support guys are working to figure it out to my benefit.

  5. That sleeping hat is just too adorable (and of course Trevor is, too!). What a fun idea, and I actually sleep in a hat in the winter time if I get cold. So tell Trev that great minds think alike, and I am glad that his request for a sleeping hat means I can have one too! And what fun to have a fake sleeping session to try it out!

  6. I’m so glad you mentioned that bloglines isn’t getting your new posts. I was wondering why I wasn’t seeing much action on Firebrunette, but now I know. I’ll just come straight to your page until bloglines catches up! Also, I haven’t been online for awhile, but I like these colors and layout.

  7. Love the hat. You’re a good mommy.:-) And yes, Bloglines still won’t let me access your site, so now you’re your own separate entity!
