Row 126 of 189

Whew! It’s up to 840 stitches a round now! It’s still easy to pick up & work on though. I haven’t started to hate or even dislike it yet. Amazing, I really thought that by this point I would be so annoyed with how long the progress takes that I would give up. Nope! I just keep pluggin’ right along on it. I haven’t worked on it for about 24 hours but I think I may take it into the backyard here this afternoon for a bit of peaceful knitting.

Tyler had a rough night (therefore I had a rough night) last night. He was awake from midnight to 4am. I mean wide awake watching movies from his bed. He was a bit delirious by the time I got him to actually take the pain medicine. See, my 2 older kids really, really hate medicine. Of any kind. I bribe them, I scold them, I try reverse psychology & it rarely works. So when it took 4 hours to convince himself that he really needed it to feel better and sleep I was not surprised. What I was surprised at was the fact that he did actually give in & let me give him the medicine. I thought he would just tough out the night. But alas, the pain got to be too much & delirium set in. That is when I struck with the meds. His eyes were all glassy & he couldn’t remember words correctly, poor guy. It must have hurt so much! I thought I was stubborn, I don’t compare to my kids!
