It was like….

there were 2 groups last night! When I arrived at 7pm Thuy, Suzanne, Melissa & Tracy were sitting all comfy at the best seating Java Station has to offer. It was Thuy’s first time rejoining the group since moving back to SB. Rockin’ to see her there working on, and finishing, a rad babies hat. Then around 7:40pm suzanne & thuy decided it was time to go. Ciao! Then within 5 minutes of them leaving another car pulled up, Summers & Jayme had arrived!! Woop woop! It really was like 2 different groups! Drumroll please…..then Mary arrived!!! Woohoo!! We haven’t seen her in a few months & she even had knitting with her this time! She had the coolest knitting book also. She kept a page with a swatch of the yarn, the yarn band & a drawing of the item she knit along with who it was for & when it was made. Fantastic! I thought my book of yarn gauge swatches was cool, this book was way better!

So we stayed until they started to turn the lights out on us! It was really fun!

I came home & planned out how I was going to finish the 2 projects that need to be done! The camping sweater & sadie’s bedspread. There is guilt that goes along with not having finished them by now. I have finished a handful of other things in the meantime.

I made a timeline & we’ll just see if I stick to it! I am not what you would call a time-structured person, I like to do what I want when I want without too many limitations. But I do accept limitations when needed, now is that time!

So off to finish something today!

Goodies in the mail today

Finally I got an order from handpaintedyarn within a normal delivery time frame & I am so happy!! The dusty pink sock merino is so soft! I can’t wait to ball it all up tomorrow. The roving is 100% merino & really soft also. The green lettuce color is a lot darker than on their website but I love it! All in all I am happy with my purchase!

On Saturday I received my blocking board & wire blockers. Very happy about that purchase! Can’t wait until I can move into this here office, but I will be all alone in here so I am not sure how much use it will get. I have a feeling that I will be at the business office with Tracy quite a few mornings. Then again, I don’t leave my house in the morning unless there is an emergency. We’ll see how that works out! ;o)

Okay, off to either spin some more of the silk/merino or knit the boucle triangle shawl. I want that done now so I think it will be the project of the week. Simple but have to keep track of increases so at least there is something interesting to pay attention to.

Tired, must knit myself to sleep…zzz…zzz…zzz…zzz…
