I love the angles of this sweater. 
Arte Nuova is a lightweight, draped top, perfect for warmer months. It is worked top-down, in the round, featuring a hybrid raglan/yoke construction. Chevron cables run along each shoulder and down the outside of the sleeve and a section of intricate colorwork decorates the waist. This is engaging, motivating knit that yields an elegant and versatile finished garment.

Baby Surprise Jacket (BSJ)

The jacket is knit in a single piece with just two seams that run across the shoulders and down the length of the sleeves. It includes extra ease across the back of the garment to fit well over a nappy (diaper).

Commonly referred to as the “BSJ”, the baby surprise jacket is “a very entertaining piece of knitted engineering”

Materials:
3 oz. of baby wool (6 sts to 1”) (sport-weight to dk)
or
2 skeins Fisherman Yarn (5 sts to 1”) (dk to worsted)

1 pr. needles in the size to give you either of these gauges.

Ramble Brioche Shawl – NEW START DATE

  • Learn the most common forms of increasing, decreasing and how to read a brioche chart

This is a great start to shaping in brioche. Most of the shawl is knit in garter, then finished off with a simple yet stunning brioche pattern at the top edge. Knit in DK weight yarn, it knits up quickly and makes for a super squishy fabric.

Emiliana Mosaic Shawl

Emiliana Shawl Dates: Fridays, 6 – 8pm January 31st, February 14th, March 6th $50 The interplay of two colors, mosaic knitting and color blocking make this shawl an enjoyable and fun knit. Brenton Point Class DATES: October 5th, 3:30 – 5:30pm October 26th, 10am – 12pm November 9th, 10am – 1pm December 7th, 10am -1pm CLASS FEE: $80 This is a great three season, lightweight sweater knit using Berroco Remix Light, a yarn free of animal fibers, and is made from recycled fibers. It works up beautifully in this stranded colorwork pattern. This is a great choice for those knitters that have a hard time with wool. Knit from the bottom up and seamless, you are highly motivated to get through the ‘boring’ stockinette to get to the simple + fun colorwork yoke. The yarn is available at Picket Fence Quilt Co in Wichita, half a dozen colors available now with the full line of colors arriving in mid September. Alhambra Memories Shawl by Stella Egidi This gorgeous shawl is an exploration of technique and texture. Worked from the center out beginning with a provisional cast-on, the stranded colorwork is a good lesson in the knit back technique, then some basic techniques of picking up stitches and garter paired with a beautiful brioche pattern. Pick up stitches from the provisional cast on and start out on your second half, same as the first.
