I bought this yarn from Over the Rainbow Yarns on Ebay. Great yardage (600yards) for the price ($10). Don’t know what I will do with it yet but I am thinking a shawl is in order. Something lacy to show the texture and variance in colors.

Now here are the same swatches washed. You can see that overspinning the bottom swatch ended up with a balanced yarn after washing.
So now I have respun the ply’s together to make it tightly spun biasing to the left to overcorrect the bias to the right in the original yarns I am plying together. Make sense? It does to me and that is all that matters.
On the top you can see the grey swatch on size 7 needles after washing and drying. Before washing/drying it had no bias. Now much, much bias. So I decided to take matters into my own hands and re-ply the yarn to make it more biased in the opposite direction. THat is the bottom swatch of the newly extra spun plied yarn.
