My new bag from Tracy

My new bag from Tracy on Flickr – Photo Sharing!.
Um…hello!?!?!
I have the Best BFF EVER! Look at the bag she sewed me! I love it!
Fabrics are mine, I just handed them over with full confidence the bag would rock.
You can see that it has pockets on either end & a pocket in the front that is big enough to hold a pattern or book or newspaper.
Inside it has all kinds of goodies!

phone, bluetooth & pen pockets
inside pocket
Key fob
I don’t know why but the keyfob is my favorite part! I love it all!
I used it today to go to the park with the kids. Perfect. It held everything I needed. My wallet, phone, keys, crochet & knitting projects, water bottle & the other random crap that comes along with having a purse & kids.
Thank you Tracy!!

Waves of Grain Scarf on Flickr – Photo Sharing!

Waves of Grain Scarf on Flickr – Photo Sharing!.
Here is my Waves of Grain scarf all finished!
I used size 7 Harmony interchangable needles, 54grams of  Misti Alpaca Handpaint Lace yarn.
I decided I didn’t care about blocking it hard since I wanted to wear it all squishy & wrapped around my neck multiple times.
Even though I complained constantly & had no motivation to work on it I am pleased with how it turned out. It will get a lot of use.

Update on Jazzy

Well we won’t be keeping Jazzy after all.
We have found that her separation anxiety when we leave her is extreme to the point that she’s not controllable. She broke out of the house and hurt a neighbors cat so badly that she had to be put down.
Luckily we are good friends with the neighbors and have worked it out but decided that the anxiety Jazzy brings to the neighborhood is not going to go away.
It makes us sad but she is not the only dog out there for adoption. We’ll get ourselves together in a little while & start the search again.

Jazzy @ Hendry's Beach on Flickr – Photo Sharing!

Welcome Jazz, or Jazzy, to the Andreasen Family!
She is a 2.5yo French Waterdog, or American Barbet.
It’s taken us a long time to make the decision to get a dog but we finally did it & I am so pleased with who we found!
She came from a family that just couldn’t have 2 dogs anymore so they decided to give up one. To our benefit, may I add.
She’s a love. She let’s the kids roll on her, use her as a pillow, pull on her collar, boss her around.  It’s great!
She likes her leash, likes walks & as I found out this morning, truly is a waterdog & Loves the beach!

31 knit & crochet unfinished projects on Flickr – Photo Sharing!

31 knit & crochet unfinished projects on Flickr – Photo Sharing!.
I must confess.
I have 33 projects on needles. I really didn’t think it was that bad! I thought I might be in the 20 range but over 30?? I don’t think I have ever had that many!!
Tonight I will frog some, arrange by priority the ones that need to be worked on & shelf others to wait for later.
wow. I amaze myself.
