Real quick post this morning because the office is freezing & my fingers are going numb!

I cast on for another bag yesterday because the messenger bag is so huge & I can’t only work on one project at a time, that just isn’t acceptable!! Of course, I wasn’t using a pattern so I ended up frogging the bottom twice. Now I have it the exact size & shape I want it. Picked up stitches around this morning & I just came out to get another ball of yarn to continue when i thought I would post quickly.

So that is that, I have my camera back & I took pics of the knitting group on Monday so I will get those put up today.

Oh & I got more yarn from handpaintedyarn yesterday. Super bulky 9-ply merino!! Can you say “fantastically, delicious, melt in your mouth yarn??”   And 1 hank of a pot surprise they had listed. Really fun!! Did a swatch of the pot surprise last night on #9’s & I am thinking I will just keep going & make it a really long scarf. There are 218 yards so it should be really long!! Haven’t made a scarf in over a year, not too much of a need in SB normally. But this week is colder than normal so it makes me want to knit cozy things. Now I will go take pictures to post once the office defrosts!

I have more yarn than any one person could ever use yet I torture myself by hunting on Ebay for the best deal I can find. Plus my favorite sellers are listing new items daily….bad sellers…bad!!

Andersen’s was fun tonight but I am not sure it is a permanent place for us to meet on Monday nights. I think we need to move back to a coffee house. More comfortable for us, less work for Andersen’s. Let’s all just admit it, knitters aren’t big spenders on food. What $$$ we do have is gonna go to the yarn, am I right? Huh? Huh? So Tracy & I are gonna start hunting big time for somewhere new. If any of you out there have a grand place we haven’t thought of please, please let one of us know!! Laura will be getting a call tomorrow since she didn’t make it tonight. Nobody panic though. If we don’t find somewhere else by next Monday we just have to give Andersen’s some business. Not just water ladies!!  

Got one row done at knitting tonight. Too much chatting goin’ on! Fun as usual though! I thought I would post tonight, get some pics up tomorrow of the meeting tonight & actually get a post done on my other blog. Since I started it & have literally nothing on it! Retard, that I am!!

 

So my son, Tyler, decided that he would finally bring me my camera after 3 days of begging & not finding it anywhere. The best part is that it had an almost full card of pictures. Below you will find those pictures. They will show you the true side of my 6 year old son, crazy as he is!

No knitting done yet today, but knitting group at Andersen’s will get me going. I am considering just taking some fiber & my new spindle. That would be fun & easy to put down if I need to be busy eating some yummy soup.
