At first I did not like it at all. The yarn is 100% silk and stiff to knit with.
Once it was done, washed & laid flat to dry I was disappointed that it hadn’t softened up at all.
So, I threw it in the dryer with some permanent press items & voila!
It worked, softened up nicely.
I would never call this soft, but it is light weight, nice next to the skin and balls up to next to nothing!

Habu 100% silk yarn, 3/4 of the cone

Size 6 needles, shawlette size of the Laminaria available at www.knitty.com

Love it.

I started to make a market bag using this cotton & of course, didn’t read the directions correctly so the bottom turned out way too frilly and not flat.

Perfect mistake to make! It is now the perfect handle protector so I don’t burn my hand when pouring my coffee!!

I have stopped drinking drip coffee at home completely now. Perc is all for me!

I used 3 hanks of O-Wool dk weight wool in charcoal gray.

Size 8 needles, size XS

I have yet to buy the buttons for this one. Once I washed & blocked it it shrunk in length a bit more than I expected so I wasn’t real pleased.

Once I get buttons on I think I will be alright with it.

And, yes, another February Lady Sweater.

4, count ’em, 4. I have made 4 in the last 8 months. That is crazy!
And, I have planned more with yarn from my stash.

Knit on size 8 needles, size XXS

I used almost exactly (I had about 20 inches of yarn left over)4 balls of Brown Sheep Cotton Fleece for this one.
I made the sleeves a tad longer than others, 24 repeats of the gull stitch pattern.
The body is 21 repeats of the gull stitch pattern.

Again, this was a knit for the class I taught at Knit & Pearl, it was a fantastic group of ladies!!
