Froggin…froggin away….
Got all these projects finished…feeling so good…now I am depressed. I frogged Marilyn’s antique shawl because she fell in love with a poncho I was wearing. Project change #3 for her. Who knew it could be so difficult to knit for one person. I haven’t had that trouble before. Oh well. Then last night while watching the Kings game~awesome awesome game~ I knit 14 rows of the colinette la luna hooded coat & frogged it this morning. I don’t like how the moss stitch comes out with the #17 needles. So I will start over with #15’s but I may not do the jacket. I have some more coming in a chocolate brown color that I really want to do the jacket with. So now the decision of what to make…fun but frustrating…I had my hopes all up for that jacket but it’s not perfect so I must start over
Such is the life of a knitter!

Way too much yarn & not enough yarn!
My latest acquisition in yarn is a bunch of fun odds & ends for hats & socks for my nieces (all 5, all A’s; Amber, Amanda, Allie, Annika & Autum) for Christmas. Love the discount yarn sale at www.smileysyarns.com. Makes me happy!!
I also am addicted to the Chenille Yarn shop on Ebay. She has the greatest cones of yarn for those big projects.
I feel like I could buy & buy & buy yarn! But alas I am running out of room and George tells me that I better start knittin’ some good s**t out of what I have! I suppose I can always sell some of the older yarn to make room for the new stuff….hm… Now that is a good idea! Dur…like noone has ever thought of that before!
Enough computer…more knitting!

“to dye for” finally finished!!
Froggin’ the shawl
Sadly, sadly I realized that my pattern for the antique red shawl wasn’t going to be large enough. Damn you guage calcualtion!
But it will work out alright, I think bottom up for this shawl will work better anyway. Don’t know what detail I am going to do on it but it will be boring old garter stitch for the body of it.
I also had a productive Sat night. I actually finished the mohair sweater. It’s from the stitch n bitch book but I can’t recall the name…to dye for…that’s it!~
I didn’t dye it myself cuz I loved the colors in the mohair I had. But oh am I excited to wear it! yay!
