The heat may be getting to me… …how about you?? My projects have become smaller and smaller with lighter weight yarns and cool colors. Looking forward to the cool down, it’s a good time to learn new techniques or just brush up on them. With holiday gift knitting pretty much upon us it’s a good idea to be prepared with new fun styles of knitting to make up quick and unique gifts.
- Boyland Knitworks KAL – Every Monday, August – September, 5 – 8pm
- Choose any Boyland Knitworks pattern that you would like to work on and join Diana and I at our Studio for an evening of socializing and knitting!!

- Mosaic 101 – August 3rd, 10am – 1pm $25
- Using just one color of yarn per row and slipped stitches this is a simple yet entertaining form of colorwork; reading mosaic charts, stockinette and garter stitch
- 2 colors of worsted weight yarn, 50 g each
- size 8 circular needles
- Colorwork Workshop – August 17th + 24th, 1 – 4pm $50
- This will be a rundown of the many forms of colorwork knitting, including:
- stranded/ Fair Isle
- Intarsia
- double knitting
- mosaic
- duplicate stitch
- Come prepared with the following materials:
- 4 colors of worsted weight yarn, 25g each
- size 8 circular needles
- 4 bobbins (available for purchase in class)
- blunt tip darning needle
- finger yarn guide (available for purchase in class)
- one 4″ stockinette swatch
