Fracy’s Shawl

Tracy (aka Tellen on Ravelry) came up with this simple yet fabulous shawl pattern using stockinette & reverse stockinette. I am calling it Fracy’s Shawl until she names it.
For years my kids all called her ‘Fracy’ because little toddlers have a hard time with the ‘Tr’. We love it.
I am using Fleece Artist Sea Wool  Sock in Cosmic Dawn on size 8 Denise Interchangable needles.

Gotta Love Men…Especially My Brother

I love my brother, Scott. He and his wife Renee own their own gym, as I have mentioned before, Crossfit Parabellum in Turlock, CA. They did a fundraiser for breast cancer last fall, Barbells for Boobs. This is how much they love boobs!!

And in case you don’t recognize him, he’s the man in front with the pink headband, no shirt, pink bra ;o), black shorts, white/pink argyle socks, and Converse. Seriously, this pleases me immensely!!

Towards the end of the video you can see Renee, gorgeous & ripped, pushing the last guys to keep going.

I am so proud of both of them for making a great gym, no a fucking fantastic gym!

…Chain Link Hat Revisited…

Well it’s been a year plus since I wrote this pattern and knit the first Chain Link Hat. I thought I would finish this second one up since I always need more hats living here.
I wish I had my Palette yarn here with me so I could make some girly, fun colored ones. Unfortunately I don’t but at least this one is close to being finished!
