Thanksgiving

I love coming to my parents house in St. Anthony, Idaho. I especially love coming for a great holiday like Thanksgiving!
I am eternally grateful for my family. I may be biased but I believe I have the best parents in the world. I have been blessed with 3 wonderful big sisters and a fantastic little brother. My parents instilled a sense of equality, love, and independence in each of us that has made our family uniquely strong.
I also love that my family loves my husband. Truly, deeply loves my husband.
My kids. My kids are amazing. Unique, each their own person. Each with their own hilarious sense of humor. Each frustrating in their own particular ways. I am grateful for each of these things.
I am also blessed with friends that love me for me. Have accepted my friendship in all its limited forms. I am not a perfect friend, just like I am not a perfect daughter, sister, mother, wife.
All of these blessings come from one place, my Creator. My God. He gives me all I need. He has blessed me with a common sense (and black & white sense of humor) that keeps me strong through all trials and through the laziness of belief in times of bounty.
Happy Thanksgiving to all! I hope the coming year is filled with things to be thankful for. Keep your loved ones close and thank them daily for all they mean to you.
