This is seriously a quickie

I have been working on a clapotis scarf, not the shawl size, out of a hank of Village Spinning & Weaving’s magical handpainted sock yarn. Gorgeous, I tell you. And working on the November sock of the month club socks. Regia silk sock yarn is to die for! I love it & will tell Julie at Knit & Pearl to stock some so we can all share in the goodness that is silk for your feet.

Sweaters just seem so big & bulky right now. I am in a quick project mode, fine by me, it means I have more feelings of accomplishment. Although I suppose that socks on size 0 needles in a  rib & lace pattern aren’t that quick. I am only on the heel flap of the first sock. I should have done them both at once on magic loop or 2 circ’s. I did get some Claudia handpainted sock yarn from Knit & Pearl for a pair of toe up 2 at once on 2 circ’s socks. I am taking them with me on our christmas trip to Idaho. That and the sweater for the beginning sweater class in January that I am teaching (hintsignupatknitandpearlhint).

I promise my next post will be full of pictures of pretty finished objects and funny quips about something or other.
