In response to Laura’s comment

I used handpaintedyarn in chocolate bulky wool. I didn’t double it because it is so thick I didn’t need to to match guage. I did use it double strand on the sole just for the thickness. I will try to finish it today since I decided to start a crochet cloche in purple cotton (pictured above). Thought it would be fun for the cooler not quite cold weather we have here.

Today is going to be a seaming day! Yay!! I have all 3 pieces for moms Bob sweater (pictured above) that I can now seam together. I think I may try a new seaming method, don’t know which one though. We’ll see. My goal is to get the clogs done for dad after my mom’s sweater then I can get them all sent off for Christmas. Then it’s on to felting bags again. I love it though so it should be fun. I am thinking I will try one of the new patterns out of SNBNation. Their messenger bag is awfully cute!

I finally received my lace weight yarn from Uruguay (pictured above also) and I can’t wait to get started on making something from it. I think I will do a lacy shawl with it. No pattern ideas yet.

Hoping everyone has a happy hump day!!

Oh, and if you are doing any charity blanket squares please bring them tomorrow night to The Good Cup on the Mesa.

Thanks!!
