Okay people! I am in a major hair crisis! I have had short, short hair for years (every once in a while I get it down to my chin & promptly cut it all off again!). I am thinking that I either want to cut the back all off into a close razor cut & let the top get shaggy or just cut it off to the normal short, kinda spikey look. I hate it now, so it’s nice if you want to compliment me, but it’s not staying this way much longer! If I had my way, I would be bald now! BUt the hubby isn’t too keen on that idea, don’t know why!!

I just wanted to come on today & say thank you to Tracy for such a lovely evening! Summers & Kelly, the more time together the better! There are lovely pictures on Kelly’s blog from their outings yesterday! You can go ahead & ignore the mean republican bashing!  

I was very happy to finish the knitting part of the navy bag last night. It is felting in the washer as we speak. So if this post seems a little broken up it’s because I leave periodically.

So far it seems to not be shrinking as much as I expected so I am putting it through another cycle. If it still wont’ go then I will actually throw it in the dryer!! Heaven forbid!!

Unfortunately I didn’t get much sleep last night due to Tyler having asthma coughing all night. Ever since those storms we are all wheezing & coughing like crazy!! Now George is down for the count on the couch …he will need it for trick-or-treating tonight with the boys!! Sadie is going with our neighbor, Jaclyn. Last year they spent almost 3 hours out & came home with tons of booty!! The candy kind of course (dirty birds).

Tomorrow night at Andersen’s will be the last night there. I am sending out an email today & another tomorrow plus some phone calls tomorrow to let everyone know that there will be a $5 minimum and we will be ordering from the waitress at 7pm. Laura was going to see about another possibility for tomorrow night but she hasn’t called back. So I am going to go forward with tomorrow night at Andersen’s.

One thought we had was the Mesa Coffee Co. on top of the mesa. They are open until 9pm. It’s very comfortable inside just not as big as Java Station. It seems there is nothing as good as Java Station. WHy can’t they stay open one more hour, would it kill them?!?!?! OBVI!

Ok gotta check the felting…brb

It’s not finished yet but soon, very soon!

I am working on the top of the messenger bag, I finished the body of it this morning. BTW, I love this time change!! So I will do the top flap & then the handle. Hoping to finish it today & felt it. Idn’t that special? I am kicking bootay on bags right now. I am casting on for another one today, you know it! Okay, now I am just rambling so I will spare you all from me! G’day!

I love Ebay! I love auctionsniper! Tracy & I decided that we needed to have some of hanpaintedyarn’s lace weight merino. So this is the auction we finally won! Yippee!!

Nothing on the knitting front today, oh, I lie. I did do about 2″ on the navy bag I am felting. I will do a picture of it. I have a goal of finishing the knitting on it tonight & felting it. I am going to try my hardest to finish it this weekend.

Today we got some bad news. Really close family member died, he was 92 & it was expected but it doesn’t make it any easier. So next week we will have the logistics of getting down to the funeral. Not sure when we will need to go. Could be tomorrow or in a week from now. It really depends on if my sister in law, Lydia, needs us in any way, shape or form. She will have a lot on her plate in the next weeks. Please keep the family in your thoughts & prayers, if you are so inclined   Thank you!!  (Summers, we are in this together Girl!!)
